how to: remove header photo and text link in Blaskan theme…

  Thanks in advance,

  Trying to remove link to homepage in blaskan theme header photo and text in a wordpress.com site. I read somewhere changing the header image to a .png and resizing exactly, really don’t know how to do this.

  Also note:
  Header image width is 1120 in the 2-col and 3-col layouts, and 540 in the 1-col layout. Header height is 160 in all 3 layouts. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/blaskan/

  I apologize if there’s a misunderstanding.

  That doesn’t explain how to remove the link to the homepage on the header image and text. It only explains how to put up a custom image, wherein the link to the homepage in the image and text remains…
