How to remove “Home” word from a WP Home Page

    I am trying to make changes to a WordPress Website that was created by my daughter for me to us. It’s a blogsite with informative information only. The word “Home” has nothing to indicate and I really don’t need it. How can this one word be safely removed from my WP Home Page? Please provide easy to understand instructions, as I a Senior Citizen (in my 70s).

    Also, as long as I am on this subject, I have seen other websites that shows the posts listed from top to bottom on other websites usually along the left hand side. What is it, that these oval shaped items look like that I can insert the words for my 19-Posts and does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can go to download these items onto my site?

    If this is not the correct place to ask a question, please don’t hesitate to respond in a “Positive Manner” and not flat out state that this is not the correct place to ask questions with no referral as to the proper place that I should be asking questions.

    Hi there,

    “Home” is the title of the page you have set as your site’s front page (though currently that page is unpublished on your site, so instead your site is showing a page-not-found error on the front page.)

    Your theme does not have an option to hide the title of the front page, so the only way to hide that title would be using custom CSS code on our Premium Plan.

    It doesn’t have to say “Home”, though – if you want something different to show there, just edit the title of the page.

    Can you give a link to a site where you see this? It sounds like the Posts I Like widget – if you add that widget to your site it automatically lists any post on which you recently clicked the Like button on sites that belong to other people.

    I’m afraid I don’t know what you’re referring to here. I’ll need to see an example of what you’re speaking of.
