How to remove JS and css file version in wordpress?

  I am working on wordpress website and want to remove JS & CSS files versions like v2.2.1 2015-08-07. These files are added automatically by wordpress.

  These versioned files doesn’t allow my results to update and never shows correct updated result.

  When I add my css & Js files manually in header it shows me correct result but replicate files.

  Hi,

  It sounds like you’re using a self-hosted blog not WordPress.com, in which case you’ll want to try the support forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/.

  I believe though that any file management will be done not through WordPress but through your hosting provider.
