How to remove Leave a Reply

  I want to use the WordPress site as a website. On the main page it shows an area to “leave a Reply”. I would like to remove it. How?

  You can disable comments for new posts/pages from Dashboard > Settings > Discussion, and uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles.

  For existing pages, which applies to your case, go to Dashboard > Pages. Open individual pages and on the left hand side under Advanced Settings, uncheck “Allow Comments”.
