    Hi totosp,

I’m tagging “modlook” to get a staff to help you out. Please be patient as they will get back to you as soon as they can.

    Hope this helps. Thanks!

  • Let’s see if I can help in the meantime while you wait for a reply.

The first step would be to login to your GoDaddy settings and change the name servers from the ones for WordPress.com back to the default or the new name servers. I currently see them pointing to WordPress.com name servers. https://www.whois.com/whois/jalanlagi.info

Have you already cancelled your purchase from this page? https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

    Hi Joshron, thank you

    Hi Darciemg,
At GoDaddy, I have restored the settings as before.
And i’m not planning on canceling a purchase, but will transfer the domain from GoDaddy to wordpress, I think it will be more efficient.

    Thank for your help.

    Hi totosp,

Transferring the domain to WordPress.com will indeed make it more efficient as you will be able to manage your domain and website all at the same place. Here is the guide on how to do the transfer.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

If you have a paid plan, you are eligible for Email & Live Chat Support through https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

  • Ah, that’s different. You don’t want to remove a mapped domain. You want to transfer it. The domain was purchased on February 26th of this year, so it would not have passed the 60 days to be eligible to transfer. Once you hit the 60 day mark, you’ll be able to transfer it.

As @joshron said, if you’re already on a paid plan, feel free to use the staff support you have included to help manage this.

The topic is still tagged for staff followup to take a look and reply, if needed.

  • Hi there,

If you want to transfer the domain here there is no need to remove the mapping. You can keep the mapping in place, and keep the domain’s name servers pointed to us. That way your site will never go offline during the transfer process.

So please point the name servers back to us so the domain shows your site again. Do this first, as you won’t be able to do it after you start a transfer.

Once the domain shows your site again, go to My Site ->Domains ->Add and select the option so use a domain you already own. That will take you to the domain transfer steps outlined in the support doc @joshron linked to above.

    Hi Kokkieh,

Thank for additional information. I need to wait until the end of the month in order to transfer the domain.

    Thank

  • Let us know if you run into any trouble when you do transfer :)
