How to remove menu completely
-
I don’t want a menu on my website. I went under Themes: Customize: Menus and deleted both the social and primary menus. And yet when I deleted the menu bar all my pages are still listed there. If I don’t actually delete the menu and just remove all the items under that menu then all that is left is a thin blue line. The menu options are all gone, which is what I want. But I don’t want there to be a line either.
Has anyone tried to remove the menu for their website with success?

Hi there,
WordPress.com does not offer the option to modify theme files directly, however, you may make changes to a theme by adding CSS if you purchase the WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plans.
Please read the below support document regarding the same.

Hi there – Dara displays a default menu if you haven’t assigned a custom one.
Looks like you’ve figured out how to hide that with CSS:
#menu { display:none }Since your site has the Business plan, I wanted to make sure you knew that you’re also entitled to live-chat and email support, accessible here:

You’re welcome to still post in these forums, but those other support avenues may be faster, and you’ll always get a staff reply, while the forums are a mix of staff and volunteers, and staff doesn’t answer every question.
