How to remove modules from NIshita
-
Hello, just wondering if anyone had the answer to how I can remove all the grey area/background for the posts and header. Essentially, I want just the side banners I made, the header, and my videos on my website. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First thing: You really, really, really, really need to optimize your header and background images for the web. Your site is so slow to load on my wireless internet service that I would not hang around. I’d just click away and go elsewhere. It even chocked the page checker I use for timing web pages when doing web site design.
.photo, .photo-inner, h2.photo-title, h2.photo-title a, .content-title, #header, #header-inner, .photo-meta, .photo-meta-inner { background: none; border: none; }You are going to want to change all the text color for titles and such as they now disappear. With your background image, finding a color that is readable will be a challenge.

so i find this code within the Nishita CSS Stylesheet, and just apply it there? And how do I optimize my header and background images? Just save it as another type of file?
Thank you so much, I am launching the website on January 19 and need all the help i can get. I really appreciate the help!

You can add the code @thesacredpath posted to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page.
