How to remove my profile pic permanently?

  Hey there,

  I would like the photo of me on my blog to go back to what it was before I uploaded it, which was this circular purple design that came with the template. I have deleted my photo from my profile on both the WordPress and Gravatar fronts, but somehow it remains on the blog … any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  I’m having the same problem. Stupid image keeps showing up on all these sites I didn’t even know were CONNECTED to Gravatar and WordPress, and I’m getting pretty pissed off that I’m unable to delete either account.

  Ya, and what’s weird is that the images seems to interchange day to day at random (the design that appears next to my name in this feed is the one I want). One day it’s my profile pic, the next its the purple circle thing. What on earth!

  I’m glad that worked for you! It hasn’t for me– no matter how many times I delete the image or clear my cache. I really REALLY regret signing up to this stupid website now– what a crappy business model you have when people wish they’d never tried it out.
