How to remove old avatar

Hi,

How do I remove my old avatar pictures and replace them with a new picture which i had uploaded to gravatar?

I had deleted the old picture in gravatar.com, but the old picture still appears whenever i write a comment.

Would appreciate any help.

Also, tell us what your old gravatar looks like, and what your new gravatar looks like. Keep in mind that it may take a bit of time to propagate around the servers, and usually it shows in forums here first. I now see a small sort of robot/space-alien-guy with Japanese (Chinese writing on the left).

I can still see my old gravatar (picture of a guy and a girl) in my dashboard, but the new gravatar(robot) appears in my blog now. Wonder why the old gravatar still appears there.

So i guess the problem’s been resolved.

Try clearing your cache and cookies, log out and restart your browser so you can see it. But you may still have to wait a bit.

I’m not a computer/code/whatever-expert, but it has something to do with wordpress having many servers that cache things (just like your own computer does, which is why the cookie dance might help), and until they (wp) changes caches, your old gravatar will remain somewhere in the ethernet???

Someone will likely come round to tell you more details…
