how to remove old wordpress hosted account

    Hi,
    I have an old wordpress hosted blog which I moved to self hosted years ago. Recently I think Jetpack updated and I lost my stats but they reverted back to the stats of my old blog from years ago. I had some trouble so I disconnected and reconnected. It seems to be getting the new stats (old stats are still missing), but when I checked my profile, the old wordpress account is still there (https://rewardboss.wordpress.com/). In my profile it said I cannot remove this account.

    Should I leave this in the account forever or should I just delete it some how? Perhaps the two get confused on the backend somewhere.
