How to remove pink dots from Adelle theme

  I would like to use the Adelle theme found here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/adelle/. Unfortunately it has these pink polka dots along the dot that I’d like to hide. Changing the background doesn’t help therefore I have to change it using CSS. How am I able to do this? I’ve seen other bloggers were able to remove it.
