How to REMOVE "RECENT POSTS" from Karuna theme front page?

    Hello. I have a question about the Karuna theme. How do I REMOVE THE “RECENT POSTS” from the front page of my Karuna themed website. I have tried everything.

    Thank you.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • You’d need some custom CSS for that:

    .home .recent-posts-title {
      display: none;
    }

    Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.

    Thank you for your response, but why then was I able to remove the “Recent Posts” section from the front page of one of my other websites using the Karuna theme (this site does not have Custom CSS/Business Plan) on it and yet somehow I was able to successfully remove the “Recent Posts” section? See here: https://vpvpa.wordpress.com/ Please teach me the pathway to remove the “Recent Posts” section on the front page of my Karuna themed websites without custom CSS because I know and have evidence that it is possible. Thank you so much.

  • Ah, I thought you only wanted to remove the words “Recent Posts” – not the entire section. Thanks for clarifying!

    Karuna displays the four most recent posts on your static homepage.

    Your other site has no posts, so that’s why none are displaying on the front page.

    For your new site, open your Posts in the dashboard at https://wordpress.com/posts/mysimplestuffblog.wordpress.com and delete the two posts there. That should prevent any posts from displaying on the front page, but let me know if you have any trouble.

  • Hi @personalizinglearning and @sd61fame,

    I just wanted to follow up and let you know that we’ve added an option to hide the whole “Recent Posts” section on the static front page in Karuna.

    To do this, navigate to Customize > Theme Options, and uncheck the box labelled “Display up to four Recent Posts on the static front page.”
