How to remove "Recent Posts" from pages (not posts) I've created for my stories?
-
I have Twenty-Eleven, with Custom Design upgrade. I am using most of my site for my stories, and not for blogging (just one page for that). For many pages I’m now using the “Showcase” template because it has wider margins; I’m also using the “Default” template for other pages.
I don’t want the “Recent Posts” and “Leave a Comment” showing up at the end of each story page (it’s at the bottom, with the footers). I’ve tried to individually remove them (not allowing for ‘discussion’ on the page attributes for each page, but it still shows up. For my blogging tab, I’m fine with having the “Recent Posts” listings, but not for all my remaining web pages. I’ve gone through the forums and support and don’t see my specific question listed. Thanks in advance. –Helen

As for Recent Posts, that section is actually part of the selected template and cannot be removed.
