How to remove 'Recent Posts' section from a static Home Page?
-
Hello Support,
I am using the Twenty Eleven template for my blog. Actually I am creating more of a website and therefore am using a static page (using Showcase Template) as my Homepage. However there is a ‘Recent Posts’ section below (but above the footers) that I would like to remove.
Could you tell me whether that’s possible? And if yes, how?
Many thanks.
Lisa

Hi again, I got my answer from bboyles post on 9/12. Seems like I need CSS upgrade. However it’s the only change I need so wonder whether the default CSS can be updated so that ‘Recent Posts’ will not be displayed or make this a customization parameter so user will have the choice. Thanks

Unfortunately, Custom Design is required to make this change on a per-blog basis.
However, if you set your static front page to use the Default template, the recent posts section won’t appear.
