How to remove side-bar "Information"

  I’m trying to remove the “information” from the side-bar on my blog. Basically, I don’t like how all the info is jumbled together and I’m already using the widgets for the info it is displaying.

  But if I can’t get rid of the stuff, then how do I at least change the author name or remove the author name all together? I tried deleting my public name from my profile, but it’s still showing up on the posts.

  Please help!
