  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to set up free Content Options to hide the date with Twenty Sixteen due to the way the theme’s coded. Instead, to hide the dates you would need to upgrade to WordPress.com Premium or Business and use custom CSS.

  If you do decide to upgrade to one of those plans then we’ll be happy to help with the specific CSS that you need over on the CSS support forum.
