How to remove subtext from posts
-
Hi,
I am having trouble removing the text that appears beneath my post titles. I have somehow managed to remove the words, but the post title now hovers too far above the content.
Any help appreciated!!

First since you site is very image heavy (what photography site isn’t?) I suggest you to to settings > reading and decrease the number of posts to show per page to perhaps 3, or 5 at the maximum. Your site loads quite slowly for me on my limited wireless internet service, and there are a good number of people out there on slower internet connections, and they will appreciate it.
Your post titles seem like they are not too far away from the post content. Did you get this issue resolved?

@Rich: The problem was in the latest post only, and he changed the line-height (too much!) as a remedy.
@Ed: The extra space is due to an invisible link before the actual first image. So, instead of changing the line-height, remove this from the beginning of the post:

Thanks guys. I’m not very good with CSS and couldn’t find the link in the script and so have worked round it, although not quite sure how myself!
@thesacredpath Thanks for the feedback. Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re saying about the settings? Will reduce the number of post per page though.
I still have a problem with too much space at the top of the site due to links I can’t get rid of mainly I think. Is there a way to remove them and decrease the space? I think I need to learn a lot more about CSS!

You are welcome. You can give this a try as well, which will move it up another 30px. See what you think.
#wrapper { margin: 0 auto 140px; } -
Do I just put it at the bottom again? Doesn’t seem to make any difference. I think It might be because the logo in the corner is the header.

Yes, just put it at the bottom of the CSS. It won’t make a lot of difference, only 30px. You can also replace it with the below if it makes no difference. Once in a while you need the “!important” attribute to force-override the existing CSS.
#wrapper { margin: 0 auto 140px !important; } -
