How to remove text widgets on Scratchpad theme

    Hi
    I activated the widget option while customizing the Scratchpad theme. I chose to show the Archive widget and the text widgets at the bottom of the page came along with it. How can I remove this please?

    I just pulled up your site and it looks like you’ve already removed the extra widgets!

    If you (or anyone else who stumbles across this thread in the future) need to remove a widget, click on My Site > Customize (next to Themes)

    Then you can use the Widgets menu to open the section you want to change. Open your widget and click the ‘Remove’ link.

    One trick – when you click on ‘Widgets’ in the Customizer, you only see the widget areas that show on the page you’re currently viewing.

    For example, if you open the Customizer and your homepage doesn’t display a sidebar but other pages do, you won’t see the Sidebar option at first. Navigate to a page that does show the side bar in order to edit it :)
