How to remove the domain expiration message from my blog?

  • Unknown's avatar

I purchased a domain name “visheshvision.com” for my blog from wordpress. Now that this domain name has expired and I don’t wish to continue with that, I have moved to basic wordpress domain name “visheshvision.wordpress.com”. I tried to cancel that domain name but still whenever I come to my blog the browser address bar shows “visheshvisio.wordpress.com” but the blog shows an overlay message “blog’s domain visheshvision.com expired”.
Please help me to get rid of this message.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

I can see that your expired mapping to visheshvision.com has now been removed and that your site is available again at its free, default domain, visheshvsion.wordpress.com.

If you’re still seeing the overlay, could you please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies?

Let me know if this helps and if you have any more questions.
