How to remove the featured image from the feature post in the Structure theme
-
Basically, I would like to have a featured image in the “homepage” section of the Structure theme, but without having that image show up in the featured post. I would like this because I find it aesthetically displeasing when the featured image appears on the homepage and then below in the featured post.
I was told I could do this by getting the CSS upgrade. I did that and realized that it was way out of me league. I JUST started blogging, as a way of promoting a project I’m doing. <y only experience with HTML was a long time ago. I thought maybe it would be something simple, a one line code {display:none} in front of whatever was used to identify the featured image in the main post… but I cannot for the life of me find it!!
Can anyone help me out?

Wow,
Thank you so much for your help. I spent a lot of time fumbling about without any success.Funny story. I was looking at other posts and saw you helping others out and wanted to message you directly. But for some reason I felt that I shouldn’t, that you probably get a million messages… and yet, you were the one who gave me the answer anyway.
I feel like this would have taken me a long time to figure out by myself.
Thanks again.

You’re welcome!
If you’re using Firefox, you should add the Aardvark and Firebug add-ons: help you identify CSS selectors.
There are at least three forum volunteers who are experts in CSS editing (while I’m not) and could have given you the answer: I just happened to be the first to see your question. And my blog is all about tips and advice, so “messaging me directly” is welcome; but posting in the forum may be more useful to others looking for the same answer.
