How to remove the gold frame from an image when using Esquire theme?

  • Unknown's avatar

I am using the Esquire theme and I am trying to post an image without the Esquire them gold frame around it. I have already posted several photos that were published without this frame, and so I am assuming that it has to do with the dimensions of this image–that it fits the ‘frame’ and so the frame is automatically shown around it when published. Please advise?

    Thanks very much,
    Elizabeth

It looks like the Esquire theme automatically adds the gold frame when you select the “Image” post format. Post formats are explained a bit more here:

    Post Formats

Rather than posting your image as an “Image” post, just keep it as a “Standard” post. Then, the gold frame should not appear!

Let me know if you have any additional questions or trouble posting the image!
