How to remove the numbers from free wordpress site?

    Hi

    I am new to wordpress. I just got a free website from wordpress.com.

    However, there are many numbers appended to the URL of the wordpress site.
    Can you advise how can the numbers be removed?

    I used to have no issue with the earlier wordpress.com, but this one I am not sure why there are so many numbers shown.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    What is url of your site which is having numbers in it and you want to remove them?

    You can change it by following below steps,
    1. Select your site
    2. Go to left side dashboard and click on Domain Settings
    3. Click on primary domain and put site address you want in ‘Change Site Address’ box.
    WordPress.com will remain with your url if you are having free plan.

    If you want to remove that part as well then you can upgrade your plan.
