How to remove the word ‘Home’ from homepage (also for other page)

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all:
I am using the ‘Apostrophe 2’ theme and menu function in my site. When I show my homepage (also other page in the menu) it also shows the word ‘home’. How can I delete this word? My site is:

    julioexp.wordpress.com

    Thanks a lot,
    Julio

  • Hi there,

By default the Apostrophe theme is intended to show blog posts on the homepage, but if you set a standard page to be the “homepage” instead, the title of that page is shown.

There is not a way to hide the word “Home” on that page, but you can if you wish edit it and remove the title (so the page is untitled) instead.

Another option is to upgrade to the Premium Plan, which will allow you to hide the title with custom CSS code, which we can help with. Learn more about our WordPress.com Premium Plan here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
