how to remove the word Private from title of front page?

  How can I remove the word Private from the front page of my blog. I have made it public but it still SAYS private

  by the way, the word ‘private’ doesn’t appear on the ‘edit’ page :)

  This blog http://splinter5.wordpress.com/ has a 404 error message on the front page. The 404 (page not found) error message http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ on your front page was caused by you deleing the Hello World placeholder post. As soon as you publish a post, not a page http://http//en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ it will disappear.

  I’m not seeing “private” and I suggest you log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and log in again as you could be viewing a cached copy.
