How to Remove Unwanted Widgets

    I would like to remove the ‘Recent Posts’ widget from all of the pages, and I have removed it using Appearance>Widgets, but it still appeared. So I read a few forum answers and tried putting in a blank text widget and it still didn’t disappear. I also tried clicking ‘accessibility mode’ and doing it that way but it didn’t work. Help!? I don’t want my recent posts to show.

    I am also having this problem on the actual posts – there is a sidebar with archives and meta data, but there is not option to remove the widgets.

    I would really appreciate some help.

    For some reason the archives and meta data decided to disappear on their own, but I am still having the problem with the “Recent Posts”.

    Hi samanthahaupt,

    I do not see a Recent Posts widget anywhere on your site. Were you able to resolve this issue? If not, could you link me to a location where the widget still appears?
