how to remove widgets from footbars

I have my widgets in the sidebar which is where I want them. However, they are also showing in my footers. Had do I get rid of them?

Hi there. Go to the WP-Admin dashboard ->Appearance ->Widget or My Sites ->Customize ->Widgets
Look for the Footer Widget area and delete any widgets appearing there. If the footer area does not show any widgets, that means it’s the default widgets showing. In that case, add a text widget to the footer, but don’t give it a title or any content. That should make the default widgets disappear.

Hi, i would like to know if i can put the widget on expound not on the sidebar but at the end of the page ? thkss for your answer !

Widgets can only be added to the widget areas supported by the theme. If your theme doesn’t have a footer widget area, then you can’t put widgets in the footer.Expound does not have a footer widget area, so there is no way to place widgets in the footer on that theme. You can only add them to the sidebar.
