how to renew?

    Hello, Id like to renew michalzaczynski.com but actually I dont know how. Where to go? where to click to make a payment? I dont neet to upgrade it, just to renew it.

    Hi there!

    If you want to keep a domain, never let it expire. The expiration process of a domain is long and complicated, and you can incur an additional late renewal fee ($80) or lose the domain entirely if you allow it to expire.

    You can avoid losing a domain by ensuring that it is set to auto renew. Visit Purchases, click the domain, and check the auto renew status.

    If you see “SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES ON” your domain is not set to renew automatically. You can enable Auto Renew by clicking Add Payment Method and saving your payment information.

    Hi, thank You for your help. Actually my domain has expired already. I visited Purchases but the only thing I can do is to have a look at my previous payments. Noting about auto renew status.

    I’ve added the details of my credit card but thats all what I can do.
    I simply cannot find the way to make a payment. The only possilbility is to upgrade domain (and to pay more) but I dont want to, as Im fine with how it is right now…

    When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/. If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.

    Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the redemption fee.

    I’ve tagged this thread in the sidebar with modlook for Staff attention.

    If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.

    If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

    I can try to help get the domain back for you. To do this though, our domain partner will charge an $80 fee. This fee is in addition to your annual registration. Let me know if you agree to the fee and I’ll get the process started.

    Typically we hear back about the domain within 48 hours of contacting our domain partner, which I will do as soon as you confirm the fee.

    I’ve sent a note to our domain partner requesting for michalzaczynski.com to be restored. I should hear back from them within 48 hours and will post an update for you as soon as I do.

    You’ll also find an email from me with a manual payment link, that’s where you can submit the payment for the annual registration and redemption of the domain.
