How to renew recently cancelled domain name?

  Hi, I recently deleted my WordPress.com blog and cancelled the domain name that I had also purchased through WP. I would like to know how to renew this domain name so that I can use it again in the future. I am not interested in getting back the blog or any of its contents, just the domain name itself. Thank you very much for your time and assistance!

  Good evening,

  I have a similar issue. I accidentally cancelled my domain http://www.workbindle.com when I really wanted to re-map it. Is there a way to undo the cancellation before it becomes permanent. I purchased the domain a couple of hours ago and accidentally cancelled about an hour ago.

  To be on the safe side, I purchased http://www.workbindles.com but I would really like to own the domain without the “s” on the end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The domain names I wish to retrieve are dailydescartes.com and jamimakan.net. If necessary, I would be happy to provide the receipt and transaction ID numbers from when I originally purchased them. Thank you very much for your time and assistance, and happy new year!

  Both dailydescartes.com and jamimakan.net are in redemption. I can request that these domains be restored from our domain partner. To do this, however, there is an $80 charge for each domain. This fee comes from them and is not one that we can waive.

  This process will restore the domains.

  The .wordpress.com site addresses and content is gone once deleted, as outlined in the site deletion instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
