How to replace site title with logo

    How do I replace a site title with my logo? It looks like I can’t customize the site title currently. I.e., the “add logo” option does not come up. What upgrade do I need to buy? Thank you. Lori

    Hello.
    1) I have the premium upgrade
    2) I went to customize, site title
    3) on the WordPress help doc, it says that there is an option there under customize, site logo, to insert a logo. This option does not come up. Do you know why?

    Hi Lori,

    With the Twenty Ten theme, you can upload a custom header image: Custom Header Image

    You can also have different custom header images appear by setting a Featured Image on your posts and pages.

    However, in that theme the custom header image does not replace your site title. It will appear underneath the site title instead. If you prefer, you can remove the site title and tagline so only the custom header image appears — you can do that in your site’s Customizer, in the Site Title section.

    Thank you. Yes, I have a header picture. This is a panorama composite and the only theme that allows all of this wide photo to show. I wanted to put my company logo above the header photo. There is no way to do this then, even with an upgrade? Right now the company logo is below the photo, but it looks confusing there, to say the least.

    Hi Lori,

    I see you’ve switched to the Superhero theme and uploaded your company logo at the top of the page. It looks like you have it set up the way you want it, but if you’d like to further customize how your theme looks you can also do that with Custom CSS (included in your WordPress.com Premium plan).
