How to replace the stadard free page with a page I designed and downloaded on my computer

    I have downloaded a page I designed with text, graphics and photos. I want this to be what people see when they reach the site. How do I replace the page WordPress provided with my own page?

    Howdy!

    When using WordPress.com you will design your site with one of our themes. There is not a way for you to upload a page like you’re describing.

    Instead, you’d need to build the page you want folks to land on and set it as your static home page.

    If you know what features you’re looking for in a theme I’m happy to recommend one, or you can share a link to a site that you like the design of.
