How to republish a post
-
I’d like to republish an old post in its entirety. Has a lot of photos. Any advice? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you want to republish it as if it were a new post? And is the existing post a wordpress post?
If so, I think the best way would be to open the old post as if you were going to edit it, go to the “text” tab and copy the text. Then create a new post, go to the “text” tab and paste the text.
Has that worked?

You can use Copy a post > http://en.support.wordpress.com/writing-helper/copy-a-post/ but creating duplicate content is not the best choice.
You can simply edit the existing post and make it a sticky post http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
You can reblog http://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/
You can create a new post with and interesting introduction and link to the original post in it.

Thanks for taking the time to write. I actually figured it out myself by just changing the date to today’s date and time and clicking update. I originally was going to cut and paste, but that only works with copy and I had spent quite a bit of time inserting photos and captions.
I appreciate your suggestions. All Best -
Do understand that what you did was breaking a link and creating a 404 not found page when you changed the datestamp on the original post? I would never do that. Read this for clarity http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/

Thanks so much for telling me. I did not know that and will not do it again in the future.
