  Hi. today I wanted to create a website/blog so I purchased what I thought would help me do this. (The website is http://www.bigbettingman.com). However, after research I think I have purchased the wrong thing as on my WordPress I cannot enter plug ins due to the fact I purchased .COM. Every self help video I looked at which I thought would help me use WordPress described me using plug ins, but i don’t have the ability to use them for what I have. To be honest I am very confused right now after today and am definitely not ready to set up a website how I want it. A lot more research is required into web hosting, building a site etc. before I even think about setting one up. Is it possible to get a refund of what I purchased today? I think it was $25…

  Hi bigbettingman,

  It looks like you registered the custom domain bigbettingman.com. If I cancel that domain, you may lose the domain, as there are no guarantees that it will be available to register elsewhere once cancelled.

  If you’d like, you can use the domain elsewhere. All you need to do is point the domain to a different hosting provider by updating your name servers:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

  Sorry for the late response. Do I get a full refund if you cancel the domain? If this is the case then yes it is ok for you to cancel the domain and anything else I may have purchased.
