How to request to purchase a domain already in use?

    I would like to purchase a custom domain that’s already in use, but looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. Is there a way I can request to pay this person for the domain through WordPress, or just request them to transfer it to me?

    Hi,

    This can’t be done through WordPress. You’ll need to do research yourself on Buying a Domain Someone Else Owns and make contact with the owner (if they wish to be contacted).

    You’ll be able to find lots of information on this with a simple google search.
