How to resize embedded Facebook post in free wprdpress blog

I have successfully embedded this facebook video [facebook url="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10202061528966854"]. But the problem is, I am unable to resize the video. I have tried using &w=300&h=199 after the url but no success. Please help me with this.

based on this thread from April, I don’t believe direct Facebook video embeds are supported: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/embedding-facebook-video-on-wp-blog?replies=6
You might try embedding the whole Facebook post instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/facebook-embeds/

Hey thanks for the response but that’s what I did, embedded the facebook post. Now, the problem is I am not able to change the size of that embedded post. Looking for some help in this.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.
I tried adding width=’200′ which is how it works on the twitter embed–which also didn’t work. My guess is there is no option to size Facebook embeds, but I’ll mark this for staff follow up in case I’m wrong.

Exactly, I also tried with width=”200″ but it didn’t work. Would really appreciate if anybody from staff would be able to help me.

At the moment, Facebook embeds cannot be resized. They will be restricted to the width of the post, but if the current embed is not, please give me a link to the post with the problem so I can take a look.

Hello, I not sure if I can jump in here but here goes. I just used the FB embed for the first time today. It seems to work fine on my wp blog on computer. The problem I’m having is when I view on my iPhone or iPad. When viewing on the mobile device the embedded post goes across the whole post covering the right column of the blog.
Is there any way to stop that from happening? I also would like to have resize ability. Here is a link to the post with the embedded FB http://billygorilly.com/blog/2014/teaching-kids-months-of-the-year/

That’s not a WordPress.COM blog and you cannot get support for it here at all. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
