How to reslove a static blog page issue.

  When I add an introductory paragraph to my static blog page that displays thumbnails and accompanying summaries, it doesn’t appear. Any suggestions on what I can do to address this?

  “Static blog page” is a contradiction in terms! First, any page that displays a group of posts is a dynamic page. Second, when you create a static page and set it as your posts page in Settings > Reading, the system borrows the title of that page to create the menu link, but this link no longer links to the original static page: it links to the dynamic page that displays your posts.
  If you need an intro paragraph on that page, you use a Text widget (and adjust its Visibility settings so that it shows only on that page).
