how to respond to a blog

    hi , I’m totally new to this , I’m trying to leave a comment on a freinds website blog , it says I need to login with a username and password ( it’s a wordpress powered ? blog ) I’ve then registered with wordpress ( I have an account now ) but still can’t leave a comment on my friends site as when the wordpress logo comes up and username and password pops up it doesn’t recognise me ? is there something else I need to do ? any help would be grateful , thanks
