How to restore CSS revision on Theme Editor?

Hello,
I was trying to customize the Theme Footer on our website.
Once I clicked the “Update File” button, it accidentally deleted the CSS on the Theme Footer.
Is there any way I can recover the previous revision as of this morning?

Hi! We wouldn’t have backups of that, as your site seems to be with Bluehost rather than our services. Here’s the difference:
https://get.wp.comIf you were editing the CSS through Customize > CSS, WordPress should automatically save a revision for you.
If you were editing footer.php instead, you may just be able to get a fresh copy from your theme itself, by downloading a clean copy and uploading the footer. Also, I highly recommend against editing a theme directly. You’ll want to use a child theme instead:
