how to restore the original gateway theme

Hi I set up my blog yesterday with the original gateway theme and really liked the layout of the homepage with the 3 blog posts across and the video link below these. However I have accidentally deleted this and cannot see how I can restore this setup. Any ideas?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,
The default layout for the Home page in Gateway theme allows you to have up to 3 ‘featured posts or pages’ by ‘tagging‘ them and then entering that specific ‘tag’ in the featured content area of the Customizer.
So, pages or posts that you want to be displayed across the 3 featured columns of your Home page, you would tag them first, (for example “featured’).
Then you would go to My sites – Themes – Customize, (next to Themes) – Featured content, (towards the bottom of menu), and set the same Tag you have set in the pages/posts that you like to be featured in your Home page.
Press SAVE after you have set the tag, and you should see the changes in the Live Preview window.

As for adding the video content below the Featured-3 column area, again through the Customizer:
Choose Theme Options, (bottom of menu) – Homepage template
There, you will copy/paste the URL of the video you want to add in the ‘Video URL’ field, (from Vimeo, YouTube, etc.), and any content you like to display next to the video, in the Video Content field below.

Let us know how you get on :-)

    Hi there,
Did you set your Home page the ‘Home page’ template?
Go to your Home page from within the WP-Admin menu, (so you would type http:stephenaspence.wordpress.com/wp-admin), > Pages
Select your Home page and >Edit.
On the left side, you will see the ‘Page Attributes’
Make sure the ‘Template’ is set to ‘Home page’ and press>Publish
Next, visit >Posts and ensure you have at least 3 different posts, (or create them), and tag each one with ‘featured’ as per instructions above.
Update each one of the posts and you should be able to now see the tagged posts in the featured area of your Home page.
There is no ‘Reset’ button for any of the Themes. You can also read through the Gateway Documentation as a reference.
