How to return all to default settings?
-
Hello I’m new and tested around some tools but now I would want to return to default settings to follow the step by step YouTube tutorials for beginners.
The only information I found was to erase it all including my WordPress address? Is this the only way or can I keep the personal name web page address?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi there,
You can empty your site and keep your site URL. Please see this guide for detailed instructions:

Hi gracema2002, thanks for your support. I’m afraid it’s too late and now I have a bigger problem:
Yes, I read that info you link before asking, my concern was deleting all “theme” “template” architecture because when changing between templates I was seeing some things not working properly just because I’ve deleted and added some elements with other templates.
Well, now my problem is that before reading your answer I finally made the decision of deleting EVERYTHING to ensure any of the structural problems with templates would remain.
BUT WordPress doesn’t allow me to use the same name address for remaking the web, I searched and read that if there’s less than 30 days the name address can be reactivated?
I should have created another web page, I see that now, that would allowed me to not lose the name and delete the old web while maintaining the address?
Thanks for your support.

@loloanurca Sorry for the trouble with that!
I’ve added a ‘Modlook’ tag to this thread so staff can take a look for you and see if they can reverse the site deletion and hopefully rescue your site address.
Can you please provide the site address here?

Yes, thanks, the site name: https://lolanurca.wordpress.com
It’s important for me because I’m an author, so the name would reflect clearly my name without confusion.
Thanks again gracema2002 for your help!
