how to return to Classic BlocK!
-
I tried the new upcoming block and don’t like it. I could not find how to set a password to keep public from reading my blog. Want to return to where I was before.

Hi there,
If you want to set a password for posts in the block editor, you can simply go for editing the post section. Here you will find settings symbol at the top on the right-hand side. You can click on that settings button and choose the document.
Under the document tab, you can click on “Status & visibility”.
In that you can select if you want to keep your visibility public, private, or password protected. You can refer the following for more details:
https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#changing-visibilityAnd if you want to switch to the classic editor you can go to the Edit Post section and click on the three dots at the top right side of the post or page editor and scroll down till the end and select the last option of “Switch to Classic Editor”.
Thanks.
Hope this helps.

@ron116, on June 1st, we will retire the Classic Editor so I would really encourage you to give the new Block Editor a second chance:
We have a very detailed guide that will help you make this change more smooth but we are also here to clarify anything further. If you have any particular questions, let us know.
You can also use the Classic Block within the new editor, it looks just like the Classic Editor, have a look:
