How to revert back to default settings

  Hi
  I am new to the WordPress world and am currently trying to set up a new site.
  I am going through the themes, and each time I find one to customise it is showing my previous settings and looks nothing like the example.

  Is there any way to reset the settings back to default? So for example if i click on Sila theme and go to customise, it loads the full Sila theme?

  Or am I going to have to upgrade my account to be able to do this?
