How to Revive My Site
-
Looking for help. I didn’t receive email notifications to pay the yearly fee for my site (I deleted an email address months ago and didn’t think) and now it is gone.
Is there any possible way I can revive the site? My understanding is that there’s a fee associated with retrieving it, but that it’s also possible the site has been deleted for good.
Thanks in advance for any support I can get.

Hi @rmfenwick, someone recently flagged this for staff attention. Sorry we missed this earlier. I’ll email with details.

I apologize for taking a week here, but I had to change my email address on the site (I forgot that as well…0 for 2).
Really want to get this resolved still if at all possible. Whatever it takes to revive the site. Called bluehost just now and they tell me all traffic is running wordpress (nothing they can do of course).
All help is much appreciated.

Hi @rmfenwick, ah I’m glad to hear back from you. We’ll want to take care of this as soon as possible.
The issue is basically that you didn’t renew the domain in May, but a glitch let it persist this long anyway. Once that was fixed the domain expired. So we’re trying to get it back for you, but you will need to pay for it. I’ve sent an email to the new address with an invoice so you can pay it. Thanks!

@supernova: I received an email from wordpress with a link to make a quick payment since the site accidentally let it remain.
But the link requires a login to get to that particular site (or at least at the link I received)…any ideas how I can login?
Thank you so much for all the great help.

@rmfenwick ah, I’ve sent a corrected link. I’ll close this thread and we’ll follow up via email for the rest. Cheers!
