How to rotate my quicktime videos?

My quicktime videos, shot from my iPhone4, display sideways on the blog. Help please.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the phone. It doesn’t actually shoot the video sideways. It shoots the video vertically, and then attaches a special instruction for QuickTime to play it on its side.
Please try opening the video in QuickTime player and select “Save for Web” from the File menu and check the “Computer” box.
The result will be a new movie file, either ending with .m4v or .mp4. Upload this file, and it should be rotated properly.

I have the (free) quicktime7 – it seems to require the (paid) quicktime pro7 to have the “save to web” option?

Do you have QuickTime 10 installed?
If not, try this and choose the MP4 option: http://www.mirovideoconverter.com/
