How to save a post from free website and domain?

I am fairly confused. To start with I had forgotten I had a site under Outislander, which due to a my health (which is now improving I have had not used. Found out when trying to set up a Landing Page (website) for a house sale my wife and I are promoting. I came on to your site and chose a free website and domain with wordpress (free again) as this is obviously a temporary arrangement (although could take sometime) I put a post together, images and text that I saved but could not save the post itself … I could not see where to save. The enable either gave me audio or e-mail and I wished for neither. I thought that mean’t you controlled the publishing of free sites. Am I lead to understand that you cannot operate a free site as you certainly could some years ago or am I missing the obvious. Please spell out in simple terms or point me to the right dos in support (I have been through all I can find and cannot find the simple instructions for actually saving a post?

With regard the above … have just been talking with somebody who knows Word press well and am now up to speed. So disregard the fairly confused, mark you still did not remember I had a site already!
