How to see the current HTML or CSS

So I’m new to wordpress, just came over from blogger and I’m kinda confused as how to edit the custom css. I’ve purchased the upgrade and I’ve edited a few things here and there in the last theme I had.

In blogger I’m used to my current HTML popping up in the code box
and I’m just trying to get this straight so is it correct that nothing will pop up in the custom css box right?

I have to manually look up the source code of my page through the develop tabs in my web browser and then add it to the custom css box.

Just curious but why does it work this way? Am I missing something and this way is easier or more efficient? It seems to me that people would benefit if the current code of their website would automatically pop up in the custom css box right?

Someone please help! I’m just trying to understand :)

oh and my current theme is Delicacy
