How to select author in the Edin theme?

  We have a multi-author blog, with 2 WP users at present. However when going to post a new blog, there is no option to select author – and it automatically selects the WP user logged in. As I am ghost writing, I need to be able to edit who the “author” is displayed as. Is this possible within the Edin theme? Thanks!!

  Hi there. This is not a theme-specific issue. Are you using the new editor? I don’t know if one can select the author from there, but you should be able to select it from the classic editor.

  On the My Sites page, click on WP-Admin dashboard. Once the classic dashboard loads, use the Posts item in the menu there to create or edit a new post. If you don’t see an Author module in the classic editor, click on Screen Options at the top and make sure the author module is activated.

  Also make sure that your user level is at least Editor. If you only have Author or Contributor permissions, you won’t be able to change the author on a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
