How to sell Festival tickets using a WordPress.com site?

  This is not about the Four Centuries of Bach site, but it is in the same vein, because it is about selling tickets for a Bach festival in Toronto in 6 weeks. I don’t believe it worthwhile to open a Business account, since I don’t think the site is going to be used for selling after the Festival. Is PayPal the only avenue available, or would that be preferable to having a site hosted elsewhere and then using whatever ecommerce features the hosting company has?

  I don’t think WordPress.com is going to offer the functionality that you are looking for. You might be better off with a self-hosted site option and normal paypal integration.
