How to sell “High Risk” Items

I want to start an online store selling an herbal supplement called kratom. (Which is legal in the state I live.) However, I have been told its a “high risk item.” Which can’t be sold using shopify, square space, ect.
However, I have seen a number of sites that use WordPress. (By clicking “developer tools, I see a WP in most of their files.)
Can I make a Kratom Website and host it on wordpress.com? If not, can I design the website on wordpress.org, and use a different website host?
If I did use wordpress.com, can I process payments for this “high risk item” via wordpress.com?
Would I need a different payment processor? Merchant account? Ect.
I just want to know how I would go about selling this high risk item.

Selling Controlled and highly-regulated substances is forbidden on the wordpress.com platform, https://wordpress.com/support/store-guidelines/.
You could try to set up a self-hosted wordpress.org site. Best is ask your hosting if they allow selling that stuff online.
