how to send a link to my blog?

  Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I’m new at this. How do I send someone a link to my blog? And, also, is there a good source for answers to simple questions like this somewhere?

  You mean by e-mail? Just write the URL of your blog in your email, most e-mail programs will turn them into links automatically:
  myblogname.wordpress.com (replace “myblogname” with your blog name)
  some e-mail programs require a full URL:
  http://myblogname.wordpress.com
  In some you need to set the link manually.
