How to send notification to the user on condition of a field value inside post

I am stuck into a problem where I have added a custom field(checkbox) for “Licensed” in my Post type. I want to email notification to the user when I check that “Licensed” checkbox and click update post.
This seems to me like a conditional notification, can this be done through a plugin or do I require coding for this. Please help.
